Mr. Vijay Shah, a horticulturist by profession, studied and realised the immense medicinal properties in Aloe Vera and decided to cultivate the same in Nu Tech Farm, situated in Kutch. The land and climatic conditions of Kutch are most suited for the optimum growth of the Aloe Vera. Moreover, minimal air and water pollution levels and absence of industrial waste, effluents make the location ideal for growth of plants with medicinal value. Mr. Vijay Shah also realised the harm the chemicals had done to the soil and the environment of his ancestral farms. The indiscriminate use of chemicals had led to the destruction of fauna that surrounded the fields and mankind was also left with innumerable ailments. The balance of nature was tilted and the eco-system became lopsided. Love for nature, a foresight to preserve this earth for all its wonders for the future generation and help mankind to lead a disease free life was what prompted Mr.Vijay Shah to practise organic farming in Nu Tech Farm.
